#sanangeLOVE is a community initiative designed to work for the community by people that love their community. The current purpose is to help the community through the COVID-19 pandemic. As many know, people are losing jobs, and getting hours cut at work. For some, it has become hard to pay bills or put food on the table.
#sanangeLOVE is focused on 3 things: supporting our local businesses, supporting citizens in our community, and the safety of our citizens. We are teaming up with local businesses to provide a 25-50% discount on a product or service to save citizens money during this time. We are teaming up with experts in our community to provide information for small businesses about good business practices, money management, how they can get government help etc… We have also teamed up with Shannon Hospital to get current information about health and safety.
We have free yard signs available for citizens to put in their yards for awareness.
We also have #sanangeLOVE T-shirts available for sale. 100% of the profit goes to the San Angelo Area Foundation COVID-19 community response fund. Each dollar donated will be matched by San Angelo Area Foundation.
We are building a community online to inspire people to help save small businesses in San Angelo through community education and helping our citizens save money.
Our goal is to unite local businesses under one hub to raise awareness in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, with 100% of profits benefiting the San Angelo Area Foundation COVID Relief. The San Angelo Area Foundation has established a COVID-19 Community Response Fund to provide emergency grants to charitable organizations in the Concho Valley who have experienced increased service demands and/or have been impacted by the economic consequences as a result of this outbreak.

- Safety of our community - we will be giving current information about what is occuring in our community. We have partnered with Shannon Hospital to get information about where to get tested, safety tips, COVID-19 awareness and more.
- Money saving tips - with many citizens without work or shortened schedules, we know how important it is to save money where you can while still supporting local businesses. We are partnering with local businesses to offer at least 25% discounts on their products and services to help community members and business owners.
- Helpful Information for Small Business - Tips and tricks from the experts about small business practices, government help, money management etc…
